Tuesday Thoughts: Waiting (God’s Call) A Mara Prose Poem

Waiting until I hear my name
Waiting because I have something to gain
Waiting because I’m in no hurry
Waiting because He says I have a new journey

Waiting because my career is taking off
Waiting because there’s a big payoff
Waiting because He gave me a new focus
Waiting because He said only small doses

Waiting to hear His call
Waiting because He told me to start small
Waiting because I see a new mission
Waiting because I need His permission

I’m waiting on God, He guides my every step
I’m waiting on Him, because he knows what is best
I’m waiting on God, because He is always reliable
I’m waiting on Him, because His favor is undeniable

I’m waiting…
