Tuesday Thoughts: Accepting the Temporary

I am learning how to embrace the temporary. The temporary is a learning opportunity. It is not bound to my future, but it does greatly impact it. If I am not careful, I will delegate tasks meant for the interim, to what is yet to come.
Always remember that some things are only meant for a season – some long and some short and some gone in a blink of an eye. But it is more than that, the temporary is embedded with valuable lessons to be learned. It is imperative that we all take these lessons to heart, learn from them and then move on; never dwell on them.
Honestly, life is one big temporary assignment; nothing in this world lasts forever.
So until next time, don’t fall prey to getting attached to temporary things and then wonder why your happiness never lasts.
