It is easy to get bitter about many things in life – loss of a job, loss of a spouse, finding out someone is cheating on you, being envious of the success of others. I could go on and on. I am dealing with a difficult, bitter person on a daily basis. Unfortunately, I will have to deal with this person for the rest of my life. That is how my Thursday Thought topic came to mind.
If you feel bitter or if you are dealing with someone bitter, don’t give it anymore power over you. Focus on the positive aspects in your life. What are the things you need to do for yourself that you have been putting off? If you are a mother or father, your kids need you to be positive and encouraging, so they can adopt these traits as well.
Pray about it and give it to God I am sorry, bitterness is just not worth your energy. It eats away at your soul, makes you an unpleasant person and causes stresses which is very detrimental to your health.
Today’s message is “Let It Go and Let God handle It!”
